Kefalogianni travels to U.S. to promote Greek tourism
Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni will be in the U.S. for a few days in a trip envisaged to further promote Greek tourism in the US market. She is scheduled to participate in the Concordia Summit, a large-scale conference drawing significant numbers of renowned participants from around the world and focusing on cooperation between the public and private sectors.
The minister is also scheduled to attend a Hellenic Initiative event, chaired by former U.S. President Bill Clinton, and will have a working meeting with top officials from the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA).
She will also meet with top airline officials and give a number of interviews on major media outlets aimed at enhancing Greece’s image in the U.S. tourism market.
Meanwhile, speaking on the occasion of the World Tourism Day of September 27, Kefalogianni said that “the World Tourism Day this year finds Greek tourism in a dynamic phase of reconstruction and with great potential for further growth in the coming years."
